How we treat the trust you give us when you write to us.

What we collect, why, and how to ask us to forget it

When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and the message you wrote. If you tick the newsletter checkbox, we additionally store your consent to send you church updates.

We use this information for one purpose only: to reply to you and, if you opted in, to send you periodic updates about The 190. We do not sell, trade, or share your information with third parties for marketing.

We host on our own server in Maryland, USA. Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256) on disk. Access is restricted to the pastoral team and named administrators.

You can ask us at any time to: (1) see what we have stored about you, (2) correct anything inaccurate, (3) delete it permanently. Email [email protected] and we will action your request within 30 days.

For analytics, we record anonymous page-view counts using a session identifier that lives only in your browser tab and is destroyed when the tab closes. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We do not share IP addresses outside of our server logs.

This site uses no advertising, no remarketing pixels, no Facebook tracking, no Google Analytics. The 190 is a church, not a marketing funnel.

If you have any concern about how we handle your information, write to [email protected]. A real human reads every message.
